How To Change Your T-Rex Password

Issue

I don't know how to change my T-Rex password.

Audience

Employees with T-Rex laptops or those accessing T-Rex network via email.

Instructions:

T-Rex laptop users: After signing into the laptop, press Ctrl+Alt+Del, and click Change a password.

T-Rex email only users: Change your password by visiting https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info/password/change

T-Rex Password Policy

Password Expiration

T-Rex network/email passwords do not expire.

Password Complexity Requirements

A newly created password must:

Not contain the user's account name or parts of the user's full name that exceed 2 consecutive characters
Be at least 8 characters in length (we recommend 12 or more characters)
Not match any of the previous 3 passwords used
Contain characters from three of the following four categories:
English uppercase characters (A through Z)
English lowercase characters (a through z)
Base 10 digits (0 through 9)
Non-alphabetic characters (for example, !, $, #, %)
