How to Update Internet Browsers
This document contains instructions for updating the following Browsers: Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox. (remember to update browsers on all devices at least monthly)
Chrome
To update Google Chrome:
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, click More
.
- Click Help
About Google Chrome.
- Click Update Google Chrome.

Important: If you can't find this button, you're on the latest version.
- Click Relaunch.
Chrome Mobile

On your Android phone or tablet, open the Play Store app
.
- At the top right, tap the profile icon.
- Tap Manage apps & device.
- Under "Updates available," find Chrome
.
- Next to Chrome, tap Update.

On your iPhone or iPad, open the App Store.
- At the top right, tap Profile
.
- Scroll down to "Available Updates," and search for Chrome
.
- If Chrome is listed, tap Update to install.
- If asked, enter your Apple ID password. The updates will download and install.
Microsoft Edge
Open Microsoft Edge and paste the following in the address bar “edge://settings/help”
Or In the browser, go to Settings and more > Help and feedback > About Microsoft Edge
Firefox
- Click the menu button
at the right side of the Firefox toolbar, go to Help, and select About Firefox. The About Mozilla Firefox window will open.
- Firefox will check for updates automatically. If an update is available, it will be downloaded.

When the download is complete, click Restart to update Firefox.
