How to Turn off Email Chimes
Open email.
Click file in upper left corner.
Click Options, bottom left.
Click Mail, under Message arrival, uncheck play a sound.
Note: If the sound continues after above troubleshooting. Try turning off sound scheme in control panel.
Click on Sounds.
Select drop down, click no sound, apply, and ok.
If all fails, you can create a new profile.
